Church Service

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am and lasts for about an hour. During our period of vacancy, we have a locum minister and two others (minister and reader) assisting with Sunday worship. Members of the congregation also take part in the service by reading the lesson and the prayers of intercession. Music plays a large part of our service. We welcome everyone to worship including the children and hopefully visitors who join us will feel that there is a relaxed atmosphere.

Children can remain in the service or attend Kirk Kids (age 3 – 12 years)  for more active and child friendly activities. The children go to their activities after the second hymn. There is also a creche available for the under 3’s.  Kirk Kids does not run during school holidays and the children remain in the church with appropriate quiet activities available for them to do.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served immediately following the service where everyone is most welcome to attend. This provides valuable time for fellowship with each other.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st of the month after the main service and is celebrated during the service on the 1st Sunday of June and December.

A family service is held once a month.

Large Print versions of the hymns/songs are available. Please ask one of the welcome team at the door if you are visiting.

Transport to and from the church can be arranged. Please contact the Session Clerk for further information.
