Pastoral visits

Illness and visits

In Acts 20:28 Paul says,

"So keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock which the Holy Spirit has placed in your care. Be shepherds of the church of God which he has made his own through the sacrificial death of his Son."

Pastoral Care

The support of your local church and Parish minister is offered unstintingly if someone is sick or needs a visit. The Minister gives priority in his visiting to specific situations where pastoral support is required and appreciates being notified of such situations as they arise. if you know of someone who needs a visit please Contact the minister  or the session clerk.

The Minister is supported in his provision of pastoral care by the Pastoral Care Team, which consists of four members who compliment the care provided by the minister.

If you wish, your name can be given to a selected number of others, so that they can pray for you or to your elder if you wish a visit.

Sharing the joys and sorrows of people is one of our greatest privileges as it mirrors the love of Jesus for all those whom He met. Thus, the care of members of the congregation and people who live in the Parish is one of the most important acts in the life of Killearn Kirk, and something that we take very seriously.

Elders visit their Districts prior to the June and December communion services.
